Colored Water or Stains
  • Presence of Metals

  • Brown-Black = Manganese
  1. Adjust pH to 7.4-7.6
  2. Using a treatment of 1 qt. per 10,000 gallon of water, add Stain remover directly to the pool.
  3. Brush the stained area daily for 3 to 5 days.
  4. See your pool professional if the condition persists.
Green Water or Algae
  • Copper or algae is present

Black spots
  • Manganese (metal)
  • Black algae

  • pH is out of proper range
  1. Adjust pH to 7.4-7.6 by adding pH increaser or pH decreaser
